This classic folding dagger is my M-15L pattern, the blade is PSF-27, the integral inter- frame is inlaid with Edwards black jade. The engraving was masterfully done by Brian Hochstrat in the bulino style with birds of prey, 22K gold accents.:
The flowing pattern was designed by Amayak Stepanyan, I call it my M-41 and is SN004.
The blade is PSF-27, the i416 stainless integral inter-frame is inlaid with British Columian jade. The “Belle Fleur” engraving was inspired by the elegant lines present in this knife. The long flowing curves evoke a very “Art Nouveau ” feel, an art style very popular in early 20th century Paris. The concept “beautiful flower” celebrates the grace and beauty of both the human and botanical form for which the Nouveau style is known. The engraving incorporates the use of an extremely delicate scroll along with flowers of fine silver, the purest white of the precious metal family, yellow and rose gold. The engraving is executed exclusively in fine bulino dot shading. By master engraver Brian Hochstrat.
Based on an old traditional pattern that was made by several of the knife companies. I call it my M-42 and it is SN 004.The Remington knife company called it a 1123 Remington bullet. This 2 bladed design is called a flush joint due to the unique feature that the blade tangs are flush to the front end of the bolsters in the closed and half stop positions, which is a challenging accomplishment. The blade has PSF-27 steel, the 416 stainless frame is an integral bolster liner, the covers are jagged bone. The bullet is red gold and yellow gold, the pins and thong hole liner are rose and yellow gold. The classy engraving and gold inlay was done by the talented Alice Carter in American scrollwork done in 24K gold, the background is relieved and stippled. A western nicked border surrounds the design.
The flowing pattern was designed by Amayk Stepanyan, I call it my M-41and is SN 005.
The blade is PSF-27 steel, the 416 stainless frame is an integral inter-frame inlaid with premium gold in quartz from a California mine.
Presenting a fixed blade dagger with a 10″ blade of “Dragonskin Damascus” made by Bertie Rietveld the blade features interesting colors and a long fuller, my logo in 24K gold was done by Joe Mason. The fittings are 4130 steel which I have inlaid many round dots of gold using four colors of 18K and 14K gold, the fitting and the blade were gun blued by Brian Hochstrat. I have made a metal throated and tipped scabbard which is wrapped in black sharkskin. I also inlaid gold dots into the frog and the tip detail. All the metal parts are 4130 I sent these parts to Turnbull Restorations to be color case hardened.
The handle is carbon fiber. I have also supplied a zipper case made with black sharkskin to protect the knife and complement the scabbard covering. The scabbard has a hard maple core which is lined with Ultrasuede to protect against scratching the blade. I have also made a display stand to display the dagger on. The base is tiger striped maple with African blackwood uprights and feet.
